Preeclampsia - Doctor advises

My friend's daughter gave birth on 29.4.2009, but she had big problems with leg swelling and high blood pressure towards the end of her pregnancy. She gave birth three weeks early by C-section due to being diagnosed with Preeclampsia. The condition is now more stable after taking antibiotics and high blood pressure medication, but the high blood pressure persists. How can Biostimul be used for Preeclampsia with high blood pressure? It will certainly be appropriate to use Biostimul on the C-section scar as well. How does it affect the baby? Thank you for your reply.

Answer

Pre-eclampsia is a disease in pregnancy that leads to increased blood pressure and urinary protein excretion in a woman. Preeclampsia usually appears after the sixth month of pregnancy and its symptoms are:

  • Increased blood pressure (more than 140/90)
  • Protein in the urine
  • Swollen feet, hands or face
  • Sudden large weight gain
  • Decreased urine output
  • Headache
  • Visual disturbances
  • Internal restlessness

Many women in pregnancy suffer from edema, in pre-eclampsia, edema appears simultaneously with high pressure.
Treatment of pre-eclampsia depends on its form. In some cases, as in this one, the pregnancy is terminated by caesarean section.
After delivery, most acute problems resolve within a few days, blood pressure and urine usually normalise within four to six weeks, so have patience, even in this case the problems will resolve.
I definitely recommend the application of Biostimulus for postpartum scars. Regular and timely applications speed up healing and recovery. The healing time is thus shortened several times and the appearance of the scar is aesthetically more acceptable. I recommend twice daily applications for 10 minutes, the application can be supplemented by applying BioFluid.
In case of high blood pressure, I recommend applying Biostimul every morning under the right armpit at the nipple level.

The use of Biostimul is not limited by age, therefore, for example, in case of childhood eczema, diaper rash, colds, etc., it can be used safely even in babies. If you have any further questions, please contact us with confidence. We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
